I pass a significant Faulconbridge landmark. It is the "Ugg Boot" shop where one can buy leather goods,
cowskin rugs, woolly sheepskin covers etc. The Ugg boot is a tall, ulta warm winter's boot made
principally from woolly sheepskin. They look like something a caveman or viking might have worn.
Very comfy, very warm and (under some conditions) quite fetching as well. The exact specifications
for the present (so named and styled) "Ugg Boot" were an Australian creation. Evidently certain
rights to the name and design of this footwear were purchased by an American company some years
ago but there has been wrangling in the courts over aspects of the contract ever since.
