By the time this young female flew in onto this perch , It was pouring rain and I was soaked to my underwear while sitting on the ground in my photo blind . Only thing that was bone dry was my camera gear. After catching a chill while sitting there for close to 2 hours in the rain , decided it was time to pack it in before I got hypothermia . After getting back to my truck , then dumping the water out of my shoes , I just thought , it was well worth getting soaked to get these photo's , and next time not to forget the rain gear .
