20121001 - Long Cloud

What a stinker of a day! Got a thorn in the front tyre on the way home, fortunately it was stuck in so tight that it didn't go flat until I got home and pulled it out. 7200 miles and this is the first puncture, so not too bad all in all.

Mending that was actually a bit therapeutic after dealing with all the rubbish that happened at work.

Changed my mind about today's pic... originally chose the close view:

Canon EOS 5D ,Canon EF 17-40mm f/4L USM
1/60s f/8.0 at 25.0mm iso400 full exif

other sizes: small medium large original auto

A real great composition, a loan tree, great sky and a house in the right place! V

Hard to pick a fav between the two as both are so good. I think the 'long cloud' just sneaks ahead because it is so long and pink. The little house by the trees is also good.
I hope the end result made up for a crummy day.

Two very classy compositions.

A stunning countryside scene, with those sunlight clouds. V

The panoramic was the best choice. What a beautifully lit coud formation.
Do you have one of those little gizmos on your bike which measures each painful mile?

Sorry you got the flat tire. This is very beautiful image. I love the composition and the light and colors are marvelous. V
