...Ned Kelly is the bushy-bearded fellow, a legendary bandit/highwayman/bushranger who became a folk hero. The Kelly Gang roamed colonial Victoria, holding up small-town banks, until the final showdown in 1880. Kelly himself was taken alive, tried and hanged later that year.
