Top Value Stamps

Thank you to Bruce Hirsh for contributing this great old image. In South Florida the Winn-Dixie grocery food chain, also doing business with Kwik Chek stores, issued these stamps with purchases. There may have been other retail stores offering these stamps with purchases but I'm not sure of that.

Oh yes, these are the yellow stamps I remember! I remember they had an actual stuffed elephant toy I always wanted. I think we may have got these at Kroger, but I'm not sure. This was in Michigan in the early 1960s. My parents got several household items and toys for me with these.

In my area (Northern California) we had Blue Chip stamps. I don't know what other areas had them. I remember stores and gas stations advertising that the gave 5X or 10X stamps.
