We enjoyed spectacular scenery with the high cliffs of the Glendale Bench to north and Coral Pink Sand Dunes to the south. Passing the entrance to Best Friends Animal Sanctuary on the left, we were soon in Kanab at around 5:30pm. We stayed at Aiken's Lodge, an older motel but super clean and great location in town. It was kind of 50 -60’s retro – had nice (small) pool too.
