Making Bread

I was feeling a bit under the weather today, with minor sniffles and a sore throat, so I didn't feel like going out and about in search of photos.
Instead, I decided to make some bread, having bought organic flour and buttermilk during the week.
It's buttermilk and bread soda which give Irish bread its distinctive flavour.

If I try really hard I can just get the aroma, and if the flour is as good as the Flahavan's oats an Irish friend of mine introduced me to then I bet it tastes fantastic.
Gorgeous light and composition.

I like the picture and the thought that we could all try the baking, then share pictures of our results. Very wholesome image.
