Vincent's down on Mott Street in Little Italy has been around forever.
They're famous for their "red" sauce that they put over clams, mussels,
shrimp and their own special pepper biscottis. Mrs B and I were Friday
night regulars there when we were dating....the deadly hot sauce would
actually sublimate right before your eyes so we always got the medium
...which was hot enough to hurt the next day! Now it comes in jars.
I wonder if it's as hot as it was in those days. I doubt it because as
I recall back then it was a darkish purple.... :-)
