Just goes to show, there are no rules on photography, just guidelines. Apart from marvellous
lighting, this photo is not supposed to have anything going for it, but it works. The two birds
become a single centre of interest. One is to the right of and above centre. The other is just
to right of centre. One prickly stem makes a good leading line, while the others should be a
distraction, but aren't. I think the secret of this photo is the location and sharpness of the grass
in the foreground and the location and fuzziness of the tree in the background.Your eye goes
from the grass, to the birds, and then, because the background in the right half is so blank,
your eye goes back to the out of focus tree. I have decided to give it a credit, simply because
such a pleasing has been produced from nothing.
