Another top five shot for me. I was shooting the young Night Heron in the previous image, when I noticed some commotion from this Heron further out in the marsh. It was far enough out that I couldn't see what it was eating, so I was very pleasantly surprised to see this when I got home. This may be a young one too, as it took nearly 2 minutes to eat the fish. I have some sequences where the fish is all but down its throat, only to see the next sequence where the fish is crossways in the bill.
