Sky On the Broads

This is a shot I have replaced the sky on.
It was entered into a competion at the camera club I go to and the judge said it would have won if it had some white clouds in the sky.
So I replaced the sky and it then came second in the anual DPI competition.

The clouds look great, but it the reflection of the red sail in the blue water that make the picture. V

it does balance the composition a little, butsome of the cloud looks a tad fishy and you would also have some reflection of a mass of cloud that large on the water

I think you have got to a standard where you don't need to worry too much about what judges say Mark. I suspect the shot will always bring back memories of a faultless day to you and not sure that needs complicating by the shot history
