This is actually one of the two statues in the centre of Turin, in Piazza C.L.N.
It represents the river Po, and right beside it there is a woman's statue
representing the river Dora Riparia.
The two statues, much loved by the people of Turin, are two admirable works
of the sculptor Umberto Baglioni, built in 1937.
