This Means War!

I've become a bit distracted over the past 2 days due to the above.....
We're 99.9% sure that we have a termite invasion in our home.
So, I've been busy vacuuming up these nasty little winged, non-winged and mating beasties!
Joined Angie's List yesterday with the hopes of finding a reputable exterminator.
The #1 company is paying us a visit tomorrow!
And this could mean we will be dropping more dimes than I care to think about!!!

No... termites are not fun. The scariest part are the chemicals they use to get rid of them. Good luck!

Over here we have carpenter ants, just as bad, but they work more slowly. Good luck. I have found a good repellent to ants, curcuma.

Hope it all turns out okay. That's scary!!! I hope there is not much damage. The winter wasn't cold enough to kill all the bugs. Dang it, let us know! I'll pray that it is not too expensive!

oh no.. termites is not a cheap fix but something we fight here in the desert all the time. hope you win the war!

Oh wow, so they did decide to stay... hopefully you caught it early and the exterminator can get them out without serious work. LOL at the movie clip you made, very creative. I love it that you have humor about lifes problems. V

Oh no!!! We don't have termites here, but with cats the odd flea invasion has attacked us many summers ago. And some houses have ant invasions. We've been lucky there. But a good poison spray etc usually helps out. I am so sorry for you Stephanie...
