Two intertwined Scots pine survivors struggling in a bleak winter environment at Loch Tulla in Scotland. Thus far they have weathered the storms but the tree on the right being supported by its neighbour has a huge life ending crack through its trunk. Alas I do not feel optimistic for them and the stark representation probably heightens that feeling of morbidity.
