Love the texture in this shot. Great light!
Wonderful tones and textures, excellent use of light and shadow. Excellent exposure to capture the granularity of the snow. V
Very well composed with superb light, shadow and details. v
The very high contrast tones remind me a bit of some of Ansel Adams' shots. The grain detail almost seems too coarse to be snow, and yet it clearly is. (Well, ice, technically I suppose.)
A natural beauty with the snow blanket. Lovely shot in B/W with the tones and shadow play. V
Lovely capture! ~V
Great study of shade and light in excellent B&W. V.
Excellent light! ~v
What amazing texture you captured in the snow. The unbroken covering of snow is very attractive.
Gorgeous, truly fantastic work with rich tones and light play and fine details! A piece of Art! V.

You made full use of the fresh snow to create a splendid image. V
Excellent capture in Mother nature's domaine, Karen! Sure appears that winter is not quite over, yet!! ~V
Love the composition, processing and strong textures. There is a wonderful moody feel to this. V
I love how the light has picked up their sparkle...
Those crystals in the snow are so clear and defined. Great details in this shot!!! V
This is a terrific black and white shot, Karen! Picture perfect. \/
It looks...intimate, somehow. Just very organic and intertwined - snow/log/light/shadow.
A lovely shot; really like the light and shadow play!

Perfectly blanketed. Great angle and tones. "V"
The light, shadows and details are all wonderful in this shot. V
Very nice blanket of snow.
Odd, we didn't even get a real snow storm this year. I can see a small patch of grass up front. V
That is more snow than we have had all winter!!
A beautiful form - great use of light and shadow. V
Very beautiful. V.
