Notice the two birds on a limb facing each other just above the bottom petals of the Celtic flower design. Each of the Lazuli Celtic symbol pieces you see is created from multiple manipulations of a single photo of a Lazuli Bunting taken on Powell Butte, Portland, Oregon. It's one of my very special birds found annually in our area. I interlocked six rings or links, each link an original of the shot mirrored back on itself to complete a ring. Then I worked with various distortions of the entire chain of six. The small "bud" in the cup of the flower is an original double image ring. The bird on limb is at left and right of the lower bud half.
