An excellent image, with the waterline providing a dividing line between the more modern aspect of this scene in colour and the reflection bringing us back to a more monochrome world. Really lovely work.

I learned this past year the builders of Chinese gardens have for centuries added mineral salts to the ponds to create turbidity as this presents a better reflection in calm water. This photo captures the concept well.

I find myself being pulled into the scene by the combination of soft lighting, turbid water and the landscape's wintry appearance. A very nice image.
