The Road Goes On & On

Although a phrase in The Hobbit
standing at the top of this road
felt very much like the shire.
In processing the image I realised that
my great grandfather, and his sister
who were seriously good artists of note
in Dresden Germany, on sundays used to do
the very same thing.
They went for walks and sketched the world
to practise their art, to see and to experience.
I do exactly the same thing but with a camera,
and sketch with a computer.

It's been good for me to get out
and leave the problems that bounce against the wall of
your own home.....and see the world.

And be in the world......and part of it!
