Don't know what this is; whatever it is, it's only one half of something grater-ery but I'll be blowed if I can find the other half even if I wanted to and knew what to do with it if I did find it, neither of which will happen so I suppose that's all right then......phew!!

Its obvious, its a thing for lining-up holes. Very useful when your holes get out of alignment :0)

I think it's half a cheese grinder/grater, but in this photo it has taken on a persona of its own, albeit a metallic one. Great macro work once again Doug.
