Day 24: Something you shouldn’t have bought, but did anyways.

This is my most expensive toy by far. It may not look like a camera
because it is used to take pictures through a telescope. It is cooled
(25 C below ambient), sealed, dryed (to prevent frost), 16 BIT conversion
(vs 8 for my point&shoot and 12 for my DSLR), can take a
dark frame with the shutter closed, and has other features not
usually found in daytime cameras.

Astrophotography is my hobby, I use this camera most every clear night.
