Day 23: A book you’ve been reading.

It was lucky I read a book this month. That doesn't happen often.

Oogy was a bait dog rescued from an illegal dog fighting facility.
He was taken in by this family after extensive surgery to rebuild
his face. I had tears in my eyes through much of the story.

I met Oogy and the author at a book signing, and will meet them again
as guests of honor at our animal shelter fund raiser.
