SOUVENIR FROM A VACATION - MY PENCIL DRAWING OF SYDNEY

Fort Worth, TX

I went to Sydney Australia and up to the Great Barrier Reef a few years back. I bought this pencil drawing from a local Artisan while I was in Sydney. I have it framed in my hallway with a lot of other pictures that I have either purchased or taken of my journies. I have dedicated this area to my travels.

I absolutely fell in love with Australia. The people, the food, the scenery, the history, EVERYTHING! One day I'd like to go back and visit a while longer. So much more to see and do. If I didn't live here I could live in Australia easily.

I've had quite a few holidays in Sydney, Melbourne and up the Gold and Sunshine Coasts. OZ is a great place to visit, and great places for the tourists to see.

I haven't made it across to Sydney yet, (well it is about 3000 miles.) Hope to one day.

the artist certainly detected the pulse of this vibrant city...great tension from the contrast and composition, and the two boats on a collision course...a great souvenir expertly photographed...V

Nice print and perfect reminder of good times travelled - but the colonialist in Canada are closer :)
