These little Goldfinches just love the sock filled with thistle seed. One of my very favorite flowers in all the world is the purple thistle. Most people consider it a weed, but I just adore it. I would love if some of those seeds would fall and grow me a garden of thistles! I would still share with the Goldfinches.
