I went to Weymouth (my birth town) yesterday and went for a walk along the seafront. Looking out to sea I was amazed to see something I'd never seen during the 21 years I'd lived there…
A blanket of cloud was draped over the cliffs along the coast to the east of Weymouth and there was a tanker and naval vessel in front of the cliffs. I fired off several shots!
Then, as I walked further along the esplanade, a sailing boat race must have started and, suddenly, there were around 25 boats in front of the tanker. Hence the shot you see here.
I've just sent it off to the local paper in the hope they might publish it!
