One of the most gorgeous beaches on Harris in the western Hebrides. It gets the full brunt of the Atlantic weather which slams into the west coast of these fabulous islands. During a brief respite from wind driven rain I emerged from beneath a boulder under which I had been hiding, doing a fair impression of a hermit crab. I grabbed this shot of Taransay beneath a sinister black sky just before it and subsequently myself was once again enveloped.
