Great shot. I too have a woodpecker that bangs away on the side of my house as well as on a worn down tree nearby. I love the stacatto noise it makes working away, but not the damage. Your image reveals its rational precision...neat little holes side by side -- and also reveals how beautiful birches can be set amidst tall green grasses.
