Wood body fountain pens

Aren't they beautiful? The body was carved out from maple woods. The nibs were made with gold plated Iridium.

Yes Cathy, there are a few techniques to increase ink flow. Increasing ink flow is a lot easier to do than decreasing ink flow. You have to know how to disassemble the nib and feed, though. Once you have the feed out, clean all the channels well, then reassemble. If it's still not enough, you can experiment by widen the channels. There are lots of write-ups on the web that you need to read of you like to experiment.

have you ever bought a "lemon?" I just invested 100 dollars in a Cross Silver-plated Slim design pen. Using the correct cartridges, and I treat it like all my other fountain pens, it is hard to write with it. The ink does not flow easily. I am a light-handed writer. What is wrong. Is there a technique for getting more ink flow?
