Day 27

This is a local car dealer (Valley Cadillac). It used to be a Hummer Sales dealer. Unfortunately, I cannot find any information on it.

I like this building! The hummer is still stong here, lots of pot growers. V

Nice roofline and curved cars.

I read the Hummer dealers were forced to erect curved roofs, sort of the tough Quonset Hut look for a tough car.

An interesting building and fine point of view. Lovely tonality. V

You chose a great angle for this. Very nice tonal range too.
By the way Hummer = Lobster in German. :)

Not much demand for the Hummer these days.
Cindi Smith28-Jul-2011 14:05
Yeah, the Hummer car lots seem to have that curve....but now that no one sells them, they just sell other stuff.

I like the shape of the building and the shape of the car noses on the right, they seem to compliment each other! Nicely composed! Great sky! V

Very fine building, nicely designed and captured. V.

A full tonal print. By being there at the right time you benefit from having a building that is nicely lit, tons of density in the sky with bonus puffy clouds and peace and quiet to get the job done.
