A beautiful palomino stallion gets ready for a tussle. This outstanding stallion may be removed due to BLM plans to dramatically reduce the White Mountain and Little Colorado herds. I'm glad I was able to photograph him. I worry about the future of these horses, especially following BLM's planned castration of all stallions in this herd management area. 9-1-11 I'm pretty sure this stallion was captured and I thought I could see him in a BLM pen in Rock Springs. Hopefully, he will be released back into this area.

Brent,

This is a stunning image. The lighting is absolutely perfect. Not only a perfect shot of the wild behavior of a wild horse, but also the wide expanse of the sage desert and blue skies.

Although it has been a while since you shot this photo, I would hope he is back and you might be able to photograph him again.
