Well, I can't take credit for this photograph. My grandson, Charlie, who is going into 3rd Grade and is 8 years old took this shot of the Lower Falls at Letchworth State Park. While he was visiting these last couple weeks, I put an old 50MM 1.8 lens on my old Canon 30D and let him carry it around on our excursions. He took this while we were on a hike in the lower falls gorge of Letchworth. I helped with the post processing which included absolutely no cropping. I think he has a pretty good eye. A little insight into Charlie; while we were on one of our road trips with the entire family in the car we happened to be going by my old high school. The talk turned to mascots and I commented we were the Griffith Institute "Griffins". Charlie spoke up, "yes, a mythical creature half bird and half animal, eagle and lion, I think". I about drove off the road. Eight years old, this kid is! I dropped them all off at the airport Saturday afternoon. I missed them as soon as I got in the car and started out the airport exit.
