West Feliciana Parish - St Francisville - Oakley Plantation

Oakley Plantation is located on the Audubon State Commemorative Area.

Oakley plantation was built between 1790 and 1805. It was the temporary residence of John James Audubon for several months while he painted over 20 of his paintings.

Oakley was opened to the public in 1954, and is owned by the State of Louisiana.
