Old Chateau theater

Rochester, MN

Barnes and Noble occupies an old theater space.

Looks like you shot in hard light. Nice image. I do like all the lines and curves in this!

Nice, typically conservative establishment in the midwest...
Great shot, Cindy.
Never saw a B and N like this..

What a cool store, at least it is being used. Rather than letting it fall apart.
Nice detail and framing.

Nice to see that books are not totally out of fashion, Cindy.
l also like the soft red and pink tones in your photo,
even to the lady sitting on the bench.

Fascinating, Cindy. I also love the subtle coloring.

Nice lines indeed including the foreground path.
Interesting that Jim mentions Borders, as their shops are in the UK too.

That does make an interesting and unusual bookstore. Do they
serve popcorn in the lobby?

Odd to see a bookstore take over an old theatre! I would think the trend these days is the other way around. Most of the Borders bookstores that were in this area just pulled out this year, leaving some rather gaping holes. Anyway, you did a very nice job of framing up this image, Cindy.
