"Dreaded Scotch broom"? It really is beautiful in bloom and we spend lots of money here to buy it at the local nursery in hopes of keeping it alive in our Texas heat. Looks like it grows rampant where you are...

For years I associated Scotch Broom flowers with Stanley Park and delighted in seeing them. Imagine my disappointment many years later to discover they were an invasive species! Lovely image, Margot!

They look very pretty with those yellow hues. I guess the no trespassing sign doesn't mean anything to them:) V

It certainly is seductive, all that rich yellow makes a beautiful image. V

It is very pretty. But, I know how it can be when things get out of control. Nice capture!

They sell Scotch Broom at the nurseries here for a pretty penny!

Everywhere you go there is some plant species making a nuisance of itself. Ours is a purple flowered thing called Paterson's Curse. It is a shame that so many of these pest flowers look so pretty - like your Scotch Broom.

Too bad it can't read the sign.

I'm not familiar with scotch broom, but this is certainly beautiful!
