Horned Oak Gall

I removed this from the small tree tonight, hoping to stave off
a bigger infection on our large Pin Oak. The whitish, translucent
shapes are the wasp larvae.

Wow, interesting stuff. I also looked it up. Hope removing it solves the problem. It would be a shame to lose a large tree to this. Great information and photo. V
