I finally gave up all hope of my old Nokia being anything other than an uncomfortable bulge in my trouser pockets (steady!!)....it certainly wasn't a phone I could actually use to have telecommunications with anyone - rubbish reception (even standing underneath a bloody microwave tower); an attitude toward being charged up which would put a spotty hormonal teenager to shame; endless, endless, endless button pushes just to delete a bloody text; crap UI...the list goes on and on

So, it was upgrade time courtesy of those lovely people at T-Mobile - not only did I get a spanking new shiny HTC Wildfire S (whatever that means....) I also had my price plan changed to something more modern (she mumbled something about 'mobile internet') for the same tariff as I had with The Brick...bargain!

20th century...here I come!
