18 F-104 Starfighters, retired by the KLu around 1984-85, were parked at Ypenburg awaiting their fate. One of them, F-104G D-8062 with the retirement 'UFO'-badge, is seen here at that airfield in 1987. This Starfighter was saved and currently is part of the MLM museum at Soesterberg.
