M53 Globular Star Cluster in Coma Berenices

Image taken over 2 nights 4/2 and 5/5 2011 from my backyard in Hillsborough NJ.
3 hours and 37 minutes total exposure time.

M53 is one of the more richly colored globular clusters in the night sky with its high population of "blue straggler" stars.

DSI Pro guided though my NP101
Canon 500D modified by HyperCams & Mods
87*150 second 800iso sub exposures
30dark/30flat/30bias calibration frames
