Guard inside the grounds of the Taj Mahal complex. Security here is very tight. I got the most thorough pat down than I have ever had. More thorough than at any airport. Since no x-ray machine is available here, they checked every nook and cranny of the messenger bag that I had. They do not allow lighters, cigarettes or chewing gum. They did not allow me to bring the cable that I had that attached to the flash and camera to allow flash photos with the flash removed from the camera. No explanation was given. Thankfully, our guide took it with him to a nearby store for safe keeping.
