Palm Sunday

West Virginia

For the April Challenge - Scavenger Hunt. This one is Party/Celebration.

Another stretch. Palm Sunday is the Sunday before Easter which is the actual celebration. However, in Christian religions, it can be seen as the celebration of Jesus dying to forgive our sins.

Shot with an SLR 680 using Impossible Project Silver Shade UV+ film.

Other entries for the scavenger hunt can be viewed here.

We mourn yet we celebrate because we know without the sacrifice we would be eternally separated.

Palm Sunday was a celebration. They celebrated Jesus' arrival into the city, and his followers laid palms down in front of entourage. This is a beautiful photo! V
