Just saw one maybe 4" I was raking up leaves around side of house. I'm in port Charlotte. If my son was here he would want to keep it!! Are they ok to be around my small dogs?

Sue-Dan I saw a 5 or 6"going out of my garage or going in. Copper on the bottom and dark brown or black on the top. Irmo, S.C.

I just saw a blue heron kill and consume a rather long black striped snake with a bright orange belly. At least 3 feet long in a wetlands area? What is it? The neck was too far away to see any ring, but it looked non venomous.

Just found a 4 baby ones in our yard under a piece of plywood. We live in the panhandle.

Just found a nest of the ringnecks under a pot in the backyard....live near the pinelands reserve at the Zoo Miami, so figure this is a bit south of the FL panhandle...almost Homestead!

i live in cape coral, and just netted one out of my pool :( maybe 10-12 " long... he was a fast little bugger, and i am terrified of them, but i had to get him while i knew where it was !
