Classic Machu Picchu

Machu Picchu, Peru

We missed the last bus down the switchbacks and had to charter one down to Agua Caliente, but it was worth it to get this shot.

Real nice clarity in this one. Like how the clouds are drifting by.

Hi Zane, love this classic shot. I'm planning to visit this place next autumn, probably not going to trek, but take the easy way up. I look forward to the experience.

Beautiful Composition, looks like you had some great light for this one, it may be a classic but you did a wonderful job. Voted!

Awesome, Its one of those places you see so many photos off, yet they are all so falt. By far the best image I've seen - hope you've been selling to the travel companies - though actually maybe not - the place would be swamped!
Kirsten PM reply 17-Aug-2006 23:00

I'm speechless
Andrys Basten PM reply 22-May-2005 18:40
To Omar especially, I was there and Zane doesn't exaggerate.

The place is very beautiful, with space being a large component
of it, but even without the other dimensions, Zane is able to
bring out what it feels like to be there. Wonderful photographer.

Beautiful foto Zane!!! Brings back many good memories for me... I actually got engaged on top of Huayna Picchu (peak above Machu Picchu which gives you the opposite view of the city). Well done as always. Bryan

I think it's good but maybe a tad too bright to represent anything on this earth. It's worth a look though. I do hope the real site looks similar but I'm not too confident!
