Deep unblemished snow lying dimpled over tree roots and rocks picks up the barest hint of soft ambient light as it filters through a light overcast sky on a fabulous winter morning across Loch An Eilein to the castle ruin. This end of the loch is next to the river that flows out so this small section alone is unfrozen which fortuitously provided some reflections of the delicate sky colours.
