Yet Another Liner, I'm afraid. Actually that's not quite true, I did have some other shots that I could have used from that day but elected to keep those subjects in reserve for a future day when a vessel doesn't turn up on my metaphorical doorstep on my way in to work. Aside from which it's really more of a cruise ship than a liner, but YACS seemed a little harsh as an acronym.
This is the Diamond Princess (2004, 290 metres, 115,875 tons, 23 knots), built by Mitsubishi (so it must be good) Heavy Industries (oh, not the Lancer Evo guys, sorry). She's a Carnival Cruises ship. In this shot you can see her fuel tender alongside her, with both of them lit by relatively early morning light.
