If you head east, beyond the ferry terminal, along the Parramatta River toward distant Sydney, the
other side of the river reverts to mangroves while THIS side remains cultivated reserve. Here we
look back toward Parramatta once again. The reserve is a welcoming place with lots of information
signs, scuptures and memorials. Parramatta is the second oldest city in Australia and its history
is an important part of its identity.
