Jim is recuperating from his surgery. Thank you for all of the kind wishes and prayers for him. He has chemo ahead, but is now trying to regain his strength.
My husband and I left on Sunday morning on a trip of 1841 miles. Unfortunately, we don't stop for photo-ops, so this picture was taken through the car window at 70 MPH as we came down the mountain into the Valley of the Sun (Phoenix/Scottsdale, Arizona). We left Wisconsin at 11 degrees F Sunday morning and arrived here to a sunny 80 degrees this afternoon. I'm looking forward to the next three weeks here in the sun.
