For twenty-three years the town of Ladysmith has welcomed in the holiday season with their 'Festival
of Lights'. The annual family event celebrates the town's transformation into a spectacle of
twinkling light over the Christmas season. Thousands of people jam the streets of this small town to
take in the dinner, parade, town light-up and fireworks. Community spirit abounds, the sounds of
ohhhs and ahhhhs fill the air and visitors depart with memories that will last a lifetime.
