Returning to Kinkaku-ji

Kyoto, Japan view map

While Jonathan and Jayden were with us, Jayden expressed his desire to go to the Golden Temple since it is mentioned in our second book (Back to Japan) as a sign which God gave us to live in Kyoto. So on a Thursday morning I brought both Jonathan and Jayden out to Kinkaku-ji. While we were there we had a good talk with some very friendly staff at nearby ice cream shop. It was very delicious ice cream. I like eating ice cream anytime of the year, even when it's snowing!
Afterwards I brought them to MOS Burger, actually the same MOS Burger Store we brought Julia to when we went to Kinkaku-ji. Then we caught a bus into Shijo (the main street of the downtown of Kyoto) where I took them shopping for souvenirs. Finally we headed home cause we had an afternoon English lesson to teach, but unlike the Arashiyama trip with Dave (the previous Thursday), we didn't have to run home, I was keeping track of time better this time!
