14th - Tracks

near Evenlode, Glos.

An optical illusion here - the bank and bushes on the right make this look slightly lopsided but it's perfectly level...

Finn is now a fully-paid up Pbaser - I hope you won't mind a shameless plug for his galleries at http://www.pbase.com/halloway/profile - he'll be adding pics throughout the year and I'm sure he'd be grateful for any CC you might have :o)

Nikon D700 ,Nikkor 24-85mm f/2.8-4D AF
1/60s f/16.0 at 24.0mm iso400 full exif

other sizes: small medium large original auto

I want to go where the tracks are going. Marvelous sense of depth and point of view. Love the full depth of field.

Wierd. I'm still looking and thinking it's off kilter. Wait, one sec, while I measure my screen.

I am not certain you should be encouraging Finn to play on the railway lines! I assume you didn't set up the tripod - great perspective

Too close to work for my liking! ;) (I can tell you that the clips on the left track are Mills and on the right is Pandrol, if you're interested, which I very much doubt you are ;)

You cheat, you're between the loins - I was looking for something but didn't know what... then it hit me - sleepers - s'pose that's why the train didn't hit you :o)
