Doug and Pete look on.jpg

I wasent too sure when Doug assured me this friendly young cow would like to be milked.

I kept looking for ages to find the dangley bits.

He told me they have cows like this back home in Scotland and the ring thingy was only a lucky charm
a sort of St Christopher for cows.

I gave up trying to milk it, the noise it made was more than I expected.

I think you're talking bull, fun shot.

What I like here, first of all is the wise and well balanced composition with the presence of your friends in background and your presumed “ cow” in foreground looking at you taking the picture in a rather intrigued way.
I like the late autumn colour and all the stories which can be imagined starting from this picture.

Interesting shot. :^)

Il vaut mieux avoir une clôture qui sépare les hommes de cette magnifique bête.
C'est une excellente photo.

Well I'm sure if this bull started to show an interest in you, then we would have come to the rescue and shouted quite loudly for help. lol. Mind it does look a bit suspiciously out of place???

"Don't even dream of manhandling me you snoopy photographer", says the plucky animal. "I will not sue for publishing rights if you get the picture taken and then clear off my patch!"

I hope you enjoyed this image as much as I did making it. The idea was to give some reason for Doug and Pete to be behind the fence.

LOL!!!! Well, it was blinkin' early in the morning!! My judgement or my eyesight more like, was probably still back home in bed :o))...hang on...now I come to think of it, I'm sure there wasn't any cow...a squirrel perhaps, or a rabbit, but no bovine! Pete, d'you remember a cow? :o))) Good shot Rob, pity about the two duffers in the background, you could surely have photoshopped them out LOL!!

Wonderful shot with a fun story to go with Rob...BV

Lol, don't forget that Doug comes from a land where the Haggis roams wild so his judgement is questionable! Bet the cow was taken by surprise! Great picture, Rob, and the light is perfect!:>)

I'm thinking that is a bull! Yeah, what you pull on there may be more than you bargained for! LOL! I'm glad he didn't stomp you. Your commentary made me laugh....great friends you have there. Hey Pete and Doug!
