My father John J. Gervais (born in Ottawa) was on the Quebec in 1954 and he also did recreational boxing on a trip the Quebec made in Alexandria, Egypt. Do you know where I could possibly find any information or if any photos exist. My father was also on the Bonaventure, Nipigon etc. He was a Radar Tech. or Rad Sea, Warrant Officer, Petty Officer wnd Class. I am just trying to find photos, information on the sport of boxing while he was in the Navy. My father also led an expedition on Training in Survival on Skull Lake in Nova Scotia for the Navy. We also have many photos of the Bonaventure and photos of places he has been and also of other Naval Officers etc. He was in the Navy from 1953 to 1973. Could you advise me on how to find other photos or get in touch with other people who might be interested in these things. My father is now 75 and lives in Aylmer Quebec with my mother who is 73. I would love to be able to get him in touch with other men who may want to share all this wonderful information he has. Thank you so much for your time.
